Marianne Mueller and Olaf Kneer
Biography
Marianne and Olaf established Mueller Kneer Associates in 1997 and founded London and Berlin-based Casper Mueller Kneer Architects in 2010.
Their practice works world-wide and has developed a particular reputation for producing spaces for the arts, culture and fashion. Projects include the critically acclaimed galleries for White Cube in Bermondsey, London, building designs for Paris based fashion house Céline in New York, Seoul, Tokyo and London, and the Jewish Museum Berlin.
The practice has received many awards, including an RIBA National Award, a Civic Trust Commendation, the AIA UK Design Excellence Award, the AJ Retrofit Award, The Chicago Atheneum International Architecture Award and an Architzer A+ global Award amongst others.
The hm55 Motion range, launched in 2008, was Marianne and Olaf’s first venture into furniture design for commercial production.
